What a relief. Not a single mention of his birthday. Not one phone call, not one text, not one email. This fact alone had brought a sinister smile to his face. Because of this, he felt a need to celebrate. Out he went! Sushi, Sake, and to spend most of the day watching horror movies seemed appropriate. He pranced along the sidewalk, that smile still on his lips. Izaya stepped into a shop to buy his sushi and sake. He came across a new brand of sake and gave his head a tilt. He picked it up and decided to go ahead and try it. Why not? If it was sweet, then he’d know not to get that brand again,

Satisfied with his purchases, he set out with his bags to the nearest movie shop. He pulled the door open and stepped inside the cool building. Automatically, he went to the horror section and began plucking DVDs from the shelf that caught his interest. He happily walked to the counter and made his purchases. Ah, this would be a good day. He then left that building with his bags wrapped on his wrists, swinging his hands as he happily pranced through the streets. No one knew of his birthday, and this is perhaps the reason he didn’t get any calls. Yes, definitely a good day it would be.

Auburn hues stared at the calender presented before him as he had been listing plans on certain days. But his eyes crossed that one dreaded date. His Birthday. He couldn’t help but scrunch his nose at the mere thought of the phone calls he may or may not receive. Izaya figured he’d feel better if he didn’t receive any at all. It was simply just another day. It didn’t matter that another year had come and gone. He was still twenty-one. Perhaps he’d celebrate by himself with sushi and sake. Or perhaps he’d call Masaomi over for the night. Or maybe he’d go piss Shizu-chan off by prancing about as he generally did. It was always such an easy task to piss the monster off.

Ah~ but what if the humans were being particularly interesting? He’d certainly have to explore that. Maybe just this once he’d make a birthday wish. And wish the humans to be especially intriguing on his birthday. Such a childish virtue… To wish for something on one’s birthday… Izaya set his pen down on the smooth surface of his desk, pushing the glasses he wore up along the bridge of his nose. He casually stuffed his phone in his pocket and pushed his form from the office chair. For now, he’d just go meet that one girl he’d been talking to online. Just to see if she’d really try to jump off a building as she said.

“You sure are dead this evening, Mun.”

Lack of Sleep…. Bored. No inspiration for anything

Izaya watched the newcomer walk around Ikebukuro as he normally did. There hadn’t been any in awhile, so to see one at random gave him some hope that there would be something to catch his interest. The informant figured he’d better greet them. That was always the best way to obtain information. Pushing himself from against the wall he had leaned on, Izaya slid over gracefully. “Ah~ Hello there…”

Ah, his stomach was beginning to growl. How embarrassing… Even though his home was empty, aside from his self of course. The informant turned his chair around slowly to face away from the window and into the living room. With a soft sigh, he pushed himself out of the chair and strolled over to the couch where his jacket lay. Izaya reached a slim hand out to grip the coat. He slung it over his shoulder as his figure twisted and meandered toward the door. The raven haired male slipped his feet into his shoes as he pulled the door open with his free hand. He pranced down the steps as per usual and stepped out onto the streets of Ikebukuro.

Auburn colored orbs watched the surroundings closely. It was quiet for a Saturday afternoon. Inhaling deeply, he took in all the scents of his city as he strolled down the sidewalk. He stopped in front of a convenient store and smiled, walking inside. After a short moment he emerged from within, a bag in hand. Izaya pranced about through the people and toward the park. He quietly took a seat on a bench and pulled a box out of the bag, along with a can of what appeared to be an energy drink.

The informant held a pair of chopsticks between his fingers and clicked them twice before opening the box. “Ah~ Fatty tuna is the best!” He exclaimed to himself as he took a bite out of the fish. His eyes observed everyone that was there carefully, which didn’t say much. It was quiet for a Saturday.

“That anon has a crush on you, Mun”

Too bad I don’t know who it is
